The Old Man of the Mountain is a most famous attraction of the state it is also popular as the great stone face of the New Hampshire. The historical old Man of the Mountain was originally a series of five granite cliff shelves on the great Cannon Mountain in the White Mountains area of the state of New Hampshire, United States of America. It is a natural creation when the Old Man of the Mountain is seen from the perfect angle, the structure looked like a jaggy profile of a old man's face. The initial registered discovery of the Old Man of the Mountain was in the year of 1805. The outcropping of the structure was 1,200 feet higher up from the Profile Lake and it is measured forty feet tall and twenty five feet wide. But unfortunately the structure of Old Man of the Mountain was collapsed in the year of 2003.
