Manchester Airport

The Manchester Airport started its operation in the year 1927, with the monetary incentive of $15,000 provided by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. During the year 1933, the Manchester Airport witnessed the onset of the first passenger terminal. In addition, the infrastructural changes were seen mostly during the World War II. After the war ceased, the name of Manchester Airport got transformed into Grenier Field . However, soon the military troops were removed from this airbase, leaving it for expansion as a public airport.
